Who I am
Design that lives in the real world.
I'm Ben Gavish, an industrial designer from Israel. I'm drawn to problems you can hold — how an object is gripped, how it's made, and why it matters to the person using it.
I move from research to concept to CAD to a prototype you can actually pick up. Function first, then form, then the small details that make it feel resolved.

How I work
Process
Understand the goal
Before anything visual, get clear on what this is really for.
Define the user & audience
Who holds it, who buys it, and what they actually need.
Build the visual direction
Set the language, references, and feeling before producing anything.
Prototype fast
Mockups, CAD, 3D prints — get to something real quickly.
Use AI where it actually helps
Reach for AI when it saves time or opens a door, not for show.
Refine with taste & intention
Edit hard. Cut what's only impressive. Keep what works.
Make something useful
The goal is work that does a job, not work that just looks clever.

About
Industrial Designer
My work spans bar tools, baby gear, accessible furniture, camping equipment, and consumer electronics — each shaped by real research into people and context.
I care about how things are made: materials, manufacturing, ergonomics, and the moment someone first picks the object up.
